Mercury is the planet that rules Communication, Transportation, and Technology. When the planet goes retrograde delays and misunderstandings do seem to happen… one basically needs to follow up better with friends/clients/etc. If you send an email/letter/fax (especially if its important) then you should take the necessary steps to make sure your recipient received said correspondence. It’s all about the follow through. Same goes with traveling, make sure you leave enough room to get to an appointment as possible.

As for technology, don’t purchase anything new and be mindful that your computer could glitch. Go ahead and backup your files and information now, before the period starts. Knowledge is power as they say.

The best part is that this time is for reflection. You take time to reconnect with old friends or clients. Don’t start anything new! Just go back into your past and see what you missed; i.e. return emails, send letters (some people still do that) to old friends, connect with a client you previously worked with. Make the most of this reflection time.

If you prepare for what this time will bring then you can’t be surprised with events as they happen. It puts you in the driver seat AND it makes you slow down a bit with your busy life. Time to smell the roses (or another flower if your choosing).
